The Gujarat Technological University was founded in 2007. It was established by the government of Gujarat via the Gujarat act no. 20 of 2007. It is premier academic and research institution. GTU is a state University. It has 486 colleges affiliated across five zones in Gujarat. The zones are: Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Rajkot and Surat. The university has various fields of study. The fields are: Engineering, Architecture, Management, Pharmacy and Computer Science. It provides degrees of Diploma, Under Graduate, Post Graduate programs along with Doctoral program. GTU has mainly emerged as an International Innovative University. • The first thing which students should do is to go through the GTU syllabus. The syllabus is available on the GTU website. They should then analyse what all to study and how to study them. Each subject requires a certain amount of time for preparing it. Students should then make a proper routine of studying all the subjects. They should never allot the complete day in one subject. In a day two or three subjects can be partly studied. Students should make sure that they follow the routine strictly as this would help them to prepare for the exam properly and seriously.

This is important step because right books will help the students during preparation time. With these books they can easily find answers of any questions. • Also students can prepare for the exam by studying in groups as it will help them to clear the concepts with each other or else they can approach the respective subject teachers for it too. • Students need to divide their time between theoretical and practical portion. Students need to prepare for assignments too. These assignments will be of greater help in preparing for exams. In case of practical portion they should know how to perform all the experiments of different subjects. Students should make notes on each subject. They should also revise it on a daily basis because they tend to forget which can create problem during exam time.
